FIA unveils radical wing concept

Formula One racing’s governing body, the FIA, has revealed plans for an innovative rear-wing design which it says could dramatically increase the amount of overtaking in the sport. -The Official Formula 1 Website-

FIAは新しい形のリアウィングの構想を発表した。リアウィングを小さく2枚にしようという試みのようだ。

ただし、これには大きな問題がある。空力などのマシーン性能、トライバーへの負担等ではない。重要な広告スペースがなくなるのだ。リアウィングはタバコなどのビッグスポンサーの指定席。そのスペースが減るとなるとスポンサーも気分は良くないだろう。まぁー、この構想はスポンサーの意見など聞く気はないと思うが…。
